 another year nearly done and gone, what have I done?

Off work for the majority of the year

hurt my foot, again, seems the trouble I had 7 yrs ago is getting worse, aging stinks

Lost a few friends, didnt make any new ones

wondering why the karma train is always parked at my home

took more classes via zoom (which was either fun or a learning experience or both)

went on one waterfall chasing trip (usually do more, lack of funds aborted that venture0

aged another year, still wonder what purpose my life is supposed to have, how sad at this stage to still not know!

Got a new job, lasted a month (this is how I hurt my foot) so unemployed again, incomeless again os of this blog

it just wasnt a good year over all,,, still too much fear among the ignorant, I lost more than a few jobs due to their fears,,,, I pray they are enlightened soon,,, that all the fearful find faith,.

I really need to get on here more often than one time a year!
Not much to say other than I finally got my imbD page updated! I got the director from The Saxophone Player agree to say I can add that film! Plus I got access to find other jobs too.
I am still in Saugatuck. Winter is here again,,,sigh......
Well heres to hoping '15 is better and full of opportunity for me financial and friend wise.

MUCH has happened since I last posted.
I am still in Saugatuck (for now) and this is the beginning of my 2nd summer here. I have been making this really cool sea glass pendents from all the sea glass I collected off the beach last summer. Interestingly enough, I sell these best to the tourists that are in the area each weekend. I made some decent money one saturday and would like to do this again this saturday!

2013 is almost over,,,,

wow I cannot believe this year is pretty much over. Christmas is soon, then New Years...and on to a new year.
I had a interesting year,,,did lots of photography, and started a new line of jewelry called "Lake MI ~unsalted" and the reason why I call it this is the main pieces are shells and sea glass found on the shores of Lake Michigan!!!
Ive sold several pieces and even sold 4 to a woman who lives in Norway! So I have a international following. I think that is pretty neat.
I mostly make Pendents,,which have their own name,,,they are called INDIE-pendents. This name came to me while driving to work one day. I think its pretty appropriate being INDIE means independent (without support of others) and the pendents are,,,,well pendents.
Plus it has another meaning,,,I hope to gain MY independents thru selling my INDIE-pendents! Get it??
So if you want to see what I am talking about, go to my facebook artist page, like it, and peruse the albums. I take pay pal or official postal money orders for payment. The ship cost is yours BUT I use the least expensive shipping I can.

moving in another direction

this blog started out to be abt my artist/athletes self. But I feel I need to move in another direction. Not sure where I will go with this, perhaps start from day one,,,of my life, my memories of how things were when I was young.  I do feel I need to work backwards to move forwards though.

Me, smiling as I was in nature,,,the one place I truly feel at home and happy.

realizing my purpose

last night, as a stood in Lake Michigan, while the waves were crashing around my legs threatening pull me down into the tepid warm water, wetting the lower part of my shorts, I tightened my hold on my camara as I tried to steady myself to take the shots I took (see my artist FB page for all my digital artistry www.facebook.com/jlotheartist), I realized that THIS was what truely makes me happy. Being outdoors, being in the Creators environment, finding the beauty and taking that shot, that one single moment in time, that moment that will never ever be again,,,,,That is what makes me so happy I could cry. Now the trick is finding a way to do this and get paid enormous amounts of money so I can travel, and keep taking shots of natural beauty around the globe. — feeling great.
